The Christmas that brought divorced couples together

A story of lovers.

The conception of the incarnate God – The Christ who became man, tells us many things, and of the many things he tells us, men have already said almost everything, except one: Christmas builds a love story between a man and a woman. Mary was engaged to Joseph, dowry paid, marriage arranged. This most beautiful maiden, of royal lineage, from a traditional tribe, had appeared pregnant, without ever knowing even the warmth of a lover's embrace.

How can we explain this? What can we say to the groom-husband Joseph, who was hopeful that the day would come and that he would meet the woman he loved so much? She confessed that such a feat was not the work of any man, for she was a cared for, graced and fearful woman, but rather the work of the Holy Spirit, God generating God in the history of men, among men to save men;

Which seemed very strange to Joseph, a good man, as any of us would not believe in such a feat, how does God generate God in the womb of a woman?

He remained thoughtful for days, whispering to himself and his soul, his heart wanted to believe, but his reason, his manhood, did not. Never! He then decided to separate himself forever from Mary, his beloved; although deep down he believed, he would do it in secret, so as not to create scandal, nor shame Mary, his family or himself, this man of reason, Joseph;

Little did he know that on the night before the day he would break off his love for Mary forever, the God who begot God would confirm to Joseph what his heart had already told him: Mary is indeed a great woman;

Faced with this fact, Joseph wakes up and has full joy from that morning, he marries Mary, making her his wife.

This prose story may seem like a “commonplace” to you, but I want to apply it to the lives of many couples who may be in a state of separation, disunity, divorce and unhappiness. Jesus wants to make Christmas come true for you and unite what has been separated by circumstances in life. This Christmas, Jesus, the Christ, wants to show that forgiveness can overcome any mistake that someone may have committed against another, and His desire at every Christmas, month and day is that love prevails and that what God has united, let no man separate! It is not love that has ended, it is the lack of forgiveness that is distancing this encounter.

Merry Christmas from the encounter in love of a man and a woman for Christ, who in history was Jesus.
