Spirituality is the capacity for transcendent and sublime experimentation despite our humanity. Spirituality is a human necessity, with the exception of training and the total application of reason provoking denial.
Being spiritual, as many have thought and practiced, does not necessarily involve a religious process. Spirituality is not an exact subject. Spirituality does not follow regimented and institutional standards, therefore, the religious institution will always assign a standard, form, and regiment to exercise a certain spirituality. Without exaggeration, we can say that we are either religious or we are spiritual.
Spirituality has to do with a proper, direct and uninterrupted connection; being spiritual is approaching the divine to such an extent that we will be similar to Him.
Therefore, who you seek as a divine being, God, will say a lot about who you are. Christianity, for example, presented God through Jesus, because God, being who he is, unknown in his totality, unreachable, not accessible, of him we only know what we have been allowed to know, in Christ God made himself totally known, accessible and possible.
And this Christ presented one God with one form of knowledge, LOVE.
“GOD IS LOVE.” Period. Therefore, when we speak of spirituality in Christianity, it only exists in Christ, and is only possible if the source of spirituality is solely and exclusively Love; Love is the source, the strength, the means, the end of our spiritual reason, if we have love in spirituality we have GOD, total and possible, and we become divine before men, being spiritual men;
Christian spirituality, wrongly because it has passed through an institutional and formatted process, has confused the spiritual man with external practices.
Being spiritual means basing your life on love. It's that simple. Those who love do not sin, because in everything that is practiced, love is the first cause, and sin ceases to exist for those who love. Because all the laws left by God are exclusive criteria and based on NOT LOVE. Love for GOD, love for others and love for oneself.
Not loving means harming others, practicing evil, betrayal, hatred, revenge, greed, and dishonesty, because all of these practices cease to exist if the practice of life is love. That is why love covers a multitude of sins. That is why where there is love, there is no law. That is why God is in the one who loves.
Without love we are not spiritual, we do not have Christ, we have no access to God, we are not saved in anything, for anything and by anything.
Spiritual man is one who lives in love. Period.
