Look, I honestly think this whole Catholic and Evangelical thing is nonsense. I'm only Evangelical for the IBGE statistics, just as a Catholic is only Catholic for statistics and tradition.
For God, there is no such thing as evangelical, Catholic or any other religion. For God, what matters is the Church that has Christ as Lord. And this Church is made up of people full of God, not temples full of people.
I think the feeling that both are having, as a Catholic or Evangelical, which is correct? It's nothing more than supporting a football team! Corinthians or Palmeiras?
Religion and football teams are the same thing. I don't believe in religion, I never have. And the more I delve into the consciousness of the gospel, the more I disbelieve.
This is because my true religion is Jesus, the apostle Paul said that
“God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their sins against them.”
Here ends all religion, which has the meaning of “reconnect with God”, therefore Jesus reconciled me with God.
I am an evangelical, because I believe in the Word of God, which says that everyone who believes in Jesus with all their heart, and has accepted the absurdity of God's grace, and has taken a bath not in water, but in the blood of the lamb, God made him a priest to himself, and gave us full access to God, not through merit, but through the merits of Grace.
I am evangelical only because I believe that every person has the right to have their Bible in their hand and study it with God's help, without needing anyone to tell me how it should be.
I am evangelical only because I do not believe in tradition, nor in any church, and Jesus never placed the Hebrew tradition and its laws above the law of love. and so if Jesus didn't do it, why would Rome do it?
That's why I'm an evangelical.
What is happening is a football team discussion, a gymkhana discussion, it is nonsense.
Sometimes we think that God needs us to defend himself., IT IS NOT NECESSARY. I who need to be protected by HIM, God is God, “saints” who need defenses, God is!
This is because Jesus is not a Christian. He did not even found Christianity, Jesus is God. Christianity was founded by Constantine in 365 AD. Only for political purposes. That is why I am not a Christian, I am a disciple of Jesus, who confesses to God in a community that gives me the freedom to worship Him and grow spiritually and as a person, that encourages me and tells me that the word of God is the only way to grow in this consciousness.
That's why I don't refute doctrines, such as baptizing children, this, that, when I see people worrying about the “faith of their religion” in truth I feel very sorry, it's the thesis that they don't know who Jesus is: God. Therefore, there is no “evangelical faith”, there is no “Catholic faith” This is just a joke, baby. There is faith in Jesus. That's it. Nothing more, anything beyond that is belief, and superstition.
The Bible is open and free to anyone who wants it… And we only have one way and right to interpret it… And that is by having Jesus as the key to this interpretation. Whatever you read, you have to ask yourself: How did Jesus interpret this? If it fits Jesus, it is for us, if it doesn’t fit, I discard it. That is why you should read and reread the Gospels and the New Testament.
I don't even want to argue facts, apologetic defenses, Biblical Canon, I even laugh at this, because they are nothing more than Catholic and Evangelical ignorance, books that exist, do not exist... If they knew just a little of their own history they would see that they were added and not removed in councils. If I had just one verse left from the Bible in the New Testament, that would be enough for me.
This text that I am writing, Jesus would certainly put as a letter in our “holy” bible, our “holy” ignorance.
I am always willing to teach any biblical doctrine, as long as the person has an open heart, because Jesus was like that. He didn't give any answers to the Pharisees, he just "terrified" them, but he taught his disciples everything. That's why I refute those who have formed opinions and just defend the football team. Nothing more.
Be at peace. And read, reread and “tri-read” the gospels, and see how Christ was, and IS, and wants us to be.
In Jesus, who has no religion
